ASAP is hiring on behalf of our client for this direct hire Project Architect position in Pensacola, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated architect to lead impactful projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to high-quality architectural design from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all phases of architectural projects, from programming and conceptual design through construction administration.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Coordinate cross-disciplinary design teams and ensure project goals and design intent are met.
  • Direct the development of construction documents using Revit .
  • Review and prepare project deliverables, ensuring high-quality work that complies with codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Mentor and support junior architectural staff, providing technical guidance, oversight, and development.
  • Conduct site visits, perform field measurements, and oversee construction observation activities.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, and shop drawing reviews during construction.
  • Participate in permitting, consultant coordination, and preparation of project manuals and specifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 8+ years of professional architectural experience , including demonstrated project management responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in Revit is required ; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Registered Architect in Florida — or eligibility for Florida licensure.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Local to the Pensacola, FL area or willing to relocate.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel for site visits as needed.
